If there was one statement to describe the horrifying experience of Jordan, now a neoRider, it would be a "nightmare on the toll road." Jordan was always on the move, and her job took her all over the country, from the warm beaches of Florida to the busy streets of New York. But the journey wasn't without its challenges. Since she didn't use toll roads often, she used to pay the tolls whenever she received mail from the tolling authority.
This blog is about the exciting conversion that I, as a product manager of neoRide, had with Jordan. She was ecstatic about having one app for all toll roads in the USA. Her case was particularly interesting and horrifying at the same time because she couldn't always update her new address with the DMV whenever she moved to a new state.
As a result, her previous toll charges kept going to the old address and soon turned from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars in fines. She started receiving calls from collection agencies for unpaid toll bills and fines.
